Not so many seats .... you have to reserve .... but the background noise is not as loud as in larger cafes ....

We have been coming for almost 20 years and the selection and quality is simply unique. It was our favorite bakery even before the renovation. As a result of the renovation, the bakery has managed to enjoy the excellent quality in a very pleasant and cozy atmosphere (incl. Delicious breakfast !!). Of particular note is the ALWAYS friendly and courteous service at the counter. If you are looking for bakery products of exceptional quality, I recommend the Merkel bakery.

Everything here is so appetizing and tasty that it is difficult to choose. The café is cozy, the staff is always attentive and friendly. We always come here when we are in Ipsheim.

It was very good, the cake still tastes good and if it is too hot there is also ice cream.
